Jospong Green Transition has
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Carbonwave Consult Limited to enhance
collaboration in carbon markets, carbon footprint management, ESG strategy and
emissions reduction.
The partnership is aimed at
supporting organisations in their transition towards lower-carbon operations
while strengthening their capacity to respond to emerging environmental and
regulatory requirements.
Under the agreement, the two
organisations will collaborate on areas including carbon market development,
carbon footprint management, environmental, social and governance (ESG)
strategy, emissions reduction and regulatory compliance.
The partnership is also
expected to support the development of practical and innovative solutions for
organisations seeking to improve their climate performance and build resilience
to climate-related risks.
Jospong Green Transition
said the agreement reflects a shared commitment to advancing sustainable
business practices and supporting organisations on their pathway towards
net-zero emissions.
The collaboration comes amid
growing demand for carbon management and ESG solutions as businesses and
institutions face increasing pressure to measure, reduce and manage their
environmental impact.
The two organisations are
expected to leverage their respective expertise to create
sustainability-focused solutions and contribute to Ghana’s broader transition
towards a low-carbon economy.
