Orange Burkina Faso has announced the winners of the 2026 edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize in Africa and the Middle East (POESAM), following several weeks of preparation, selection and project pitches.

The 10 finalists presented their projects before the jury, with four winning initiatives recognised for their creativity, innovation and potential to deliver high-impact solutions.

Vital Monitoring won the first National Prize, while The Big Brother secured the second National Prize and Recycle to Remediate took the third National Prize.

The Women’s Prize was awarded to Goundi.

Orange Burkina Faso congratulated the finalists for their efforts throughout the competition and recognised their commitment to developing innovative solutions to social challenges.

The winners will now advance their projects with the ambition of taking their solutions beyond Burkina Faso and increasing their regional and international impact.

The company said the latest edition of POESAM provided a platform to celebrate entrepreneurship and social innovation while supporting entrepreneurs working to develop solutions with meaningful impact in Burkina Faso.

The competition continues to provide visibility and recognition to innovative entrepreneurs as they seek to turn their ideas into scalable solutions capable of contributing to social and economic development.
