Telecel Ghana has hosted 100 girls from the Upper West and Volta Regions at its headquarters as part of the Girls in ICT initiative led by the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovation.

The engagement focused on equipping the next generation with practical digital skills and the confidence needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.

As part of the programme, the girls participated in hands-on sessions covering coding, robotics and cybersecurity, providing them with practical exposure to key areas of technology and digital innovation.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts to encourage more girls to develop digital skills and explore opportunities in the technology sector.

Telecel Ghana said the engagement reflects its commitment to supporting the development of the next generation of technology talent and helping young girls build the skills needed to participate meaningfully in the digital economy.
