Togo is continuing the
migration of public services to a new digital platform, with stakeholders
receiving training on how to use the system for architect certification and
building permit applications.
The training session was
held as part of the ongoing transition from the previous public services
platform to the new Service Public platform.
The session brought together
architects from the National Order of Architects of Togo (ONAT),
representatives of the Autonomous District of Greater Lomé (DAGL) and the
Ministry of Territorial Planning and Urban Planning (MATU), as well as
developers from CAGECFI SA.
Participants were introduced
to the process of accessing the new platform and the procedures for applying
for architect certification required for building permits and submitting
building permit applications.
Agence Togo Digital said the
training forms part of broader efforts by the Togolese administration to
digitise public services and simplify administrative procedures.
The transition is intended
to make public services more accessible to citizens while reducing the
complexity associated with accessing and processing administrative
applications.
The initiative also supports
the government’s wider digital transformation agenda by moving more public
services onto integrated online platforms.
The continued migration of
services is expected to improve the efficiency of administrative processes and
make it easier for citizens and professionals to access services related to
construction and urban development.
