The Lagos Regional Manager
of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Barrister Bukola Teriba, has
visited the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan and Gateway International
Airport in Iperu/Remo, Ogun State, as part of efforts to strengthen engagement
with staff and key stakeholders across the region.
During the working visit,
Teriba paid a courtesy call on the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)
Airport Manager, Olugbenga Afuwape, where she acknowledged the cordial working
relationship and operational cooperation between airport management and the
aviation regulatory authority.
She commended Afuwape for
his cooperation and continued support in facilitating effective operations at
the airport.
Teriba also engaged NCAA
staff at the Ibadan office, commending them for their dedication, commitment
and professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities.
She assured staff of the
commitment of the Director General of Civil Aviation, Captain Chris Najomo, to
their welfare and entitlements, as well as the provision of a conducive working
environment to enable them to discharge their duties effectively.
Responding on behalf of the
staff, the Acting Terminal Head of the NCAA Ibadan Office, Mrs Roseline
Awolere, commended the Director General for his prompt interventions on issues
relating to staff welfare.
She also thanked the
Regional Manager for the visit, noting that her engagement, words of
encouragement and recognition of staff efforts would help boost team morale and
contribute to greater workplace efficiency.
