The Zimbabwe National
Geospatial and Space Agency (ZINGSA) visited several rural schools as part of
World Space Week, celebrated under the theme “Rocket Revolution,” to share the
excitement of space science, exploration and technology with young learners.
The visits provided an
opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage scientific thinking and introduce
learners to the possibilities within space science, satellite technology and
STEM education.
ZINGSA said the outreach
reflects its belief that the future of space science and technology begins with
inspiring young minds today.
By reaching learners in
rural communities, the agency aims to encourage them to explore new ideas,
dream boldly and recognise that they, too, can contribute to the future of
scientific innovation.
