STAR.VISION has hosted a
delegation from the Kenya Space Agency (KSA), led by Director General Maj. Gen.
Hillary Kipkosgey, to strengthen cooperation and explore further opportunities
to advance Kenya’s space sector.
The delegation also included
Lt. Col. Nickson Kosi, Director of Space Applications and Utilizations, and
Hillary Wainaina, a Space Systems Engineer.
The visit provided an
opportunity to build on previous engagements, including the SpaceBorne AI
Rideshare Algorithm Programme, and explore further opportunities for
collaboration.
During the visit, the
delegation toured STAR.VISION’s Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT)
facilities, intelligent command centre and ground station infrastructure. The
visit provided insights into the company’s AI satellite development
capabilities and the technologies supporting its growing space ecosystem.
STAR.VISION said advancing
space capabilities requires strong partnerships, shared expertise and a common
vision.
The company said it looked
forward to building on its collaboration with KSA, supporting Kenya’s space
ambitions and contributing to the continued growth of Africa’s space sector.
“Space has a shared destiny,
and we look forward to shaping its future together,” the company said.
