MTN Rwanda partners Ministry of ICT and Innovation to unveil IKOSORA+ under Connect Rwanda 2.0

MTN Rwanda has partnered with the Ministry of ICT and Innovation to launch a new affordable 4G-enabled smartphone, IKOSORA+. This initiative is part of Connect Rwanda 2.0, aimed at promoting digital inclusion in Nyakarambi Sector, Kirehe District.
Connect Rwanda 1.0, which provided smartphones to over 26,599 beneficiaries across the country, was a resounding success. The objective of this second initiative is to increase smartphone accessibility and affordability, narrow the digital gap, and improve connectivity. The launch of the IKOSORA+ is a significant step towards achieving these goals.

congratulates MTN Rwanda for introducing the affordable 4G-enabled Ikosora+
smartphone, a significant step in advancing the #ConnectRwanda 2.0 initiative.
This achievement aligns with our goal of fostering inclusive broadband access,
ensuring cost-effective internet solutions are within reach for all citizens.”
By launching the IKOSORA+, this initiative unlocks a world of opportunities by empowering individuals with access to the internet and a wide range of digital services, further fostering their participation in the digital economy.

performance for all apps and media.
Priced at
just Rwf 20,000, IKOSORA+ is available at all MTN service centres and connect
shops across the country. Additionally, customers will enjoy an exclusive bonus
package that includes 1GB of data per day, 100 minutes of voice, and 100 SMS
for 30 days at a cost of Rwf 1,000 only. This bundle offer is valid
for 12 months and can be recharged when it expires.
