MTN South Sudan
CEO Monzer Ali has met with the Minister of Investment, Dhieu Mathok Diing Wol
at his office at the Ministry of Investment. The meeting aimed to explore
potential collaborations and investment opportunities that would benefit both
MTN South Sudan and the broader South Sudanese economy.
In his
welcoming remark, Hon Dhieu Mathok Diing Wol stressed the crucial role of
private sector involvement in driving economic development and gave the
government’s assurance of committing to creating a favorable business
environment, encouraging MTN South Sudan to continue investing in innovative
solutions that enhance connectivity and digital services nationwide.
Mr. Ali Monzer
expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the Minister. He shared
MTN South Sudan's vision of leveraging technology to improve the lives of South
Sudanese citizens, and outlined several key initiatives, including expanding
network coverage to rural areas, introducing mobile financial services, and
promoting digital literacy programs.
