Mastercard has entered
a strategic partnership with Little App Kenya, paving the way for seamless
digital transactions in the region. This collaboration has resulted in the
successful execution of the first Mastercard QR Pay By Link transaction in
Kenya, facilitated by Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS) and KCB Bank
Group as the acquiring partner.
The partnership
was formally sealed by Shehryar Bakht Ali, Senior Vice President and Country
Manager for East Africa at Mastercard, and Kamal Budhabhatti, CEO of Little App
Kenya a brief signing ceremony.

This innovative
solution enables cab hailing drivers and customers to make payments
effortlessly using their cards by scanning a QR code with KCB Bank Group becoming
one of the first banks in East Africa to offer QR Pay By Link.
