The event aimed to educate and empower local communities about the importance of cybersecurity in an increasingly digital world.

Instead, they pose risks to everyday citizens, who often become unsuspecting victims of cyberattacks. The Minister highlighted the shift in perception surrounding cybersecurity, noting that everyone is a potential target in today’s digital landscape.

She gave assurance of the Government of Zimbabwe's commitment to promoting cybersecurity and protecting the country's digital infrastructure and reiterated the importance of collaboration between government entities and the community in tackling cyber threats and safeguarding personal information.
