Airtel
Money has unveiled an exciting new offering, ‘Paybill Rudishiwa,’ which gives
customers a 50% cashback on paybill transaction fees in the form of airtime.
This festive season, Airtel Money users making payments to over two million
merchant paybills can enjoy not only the ease of mobile transactions but also
the added benefit of staying connected.
The
initiative aims to provide more value to customers while reinforcing Airtel
Kenya's commitment to affordability and convenience. By allowing users to
convert their payment costs into airtime, Airtel is ensuring customers remain
connected to their loved ones and essential services throughout the holiday
season.
The
announcement was made during Airtel Money’s Business Update, where the company
shared its strategic plans to expand its distribution network. Currently,
Airtel Money boasts over 90,000 agents and 2,300 exclusive Airtel Money
branches across Kenya. The planned expansion will further enhance access to
Airtel Money’s services, solidifying its position as a key player in Kenya’s
mobile money ecosystem.
Airtel
has been at the forefront of innovation, striving to deliver secure, reliable,
and cost-effective payment solutions for individuals and businesses alike.
These efforts have driven remarkable growth for Airtel Money over the years,
with the platform playing an increasingly vital role in Kenya’s financial
landscape.
