The
Minister of Digital Transformation and Administrative Reforms, Amal El
Fallah-Seghrouchni has hosted the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
Resident Representative in Morocco, Ilaria Carnevali alongside her team. The
meeting aimed towards reinforcing collaboration between the Ministry and the
UNDP in key sectors vital for Morocco's development.
It
also focused on the review of ongoing projects and programs being carried out
by the UNDP in Morocco, with a special emphasis on administrative reform,
digital transition, and the integration of advanced technologies. These areas
are pivotal for Morocco's growth, especially in the context of the country’s
vision for modernization and improving governance through digital innovation.
Minister
El Fallah-Seghrouchni expressed Morocco’s commitment to further strengthening
partnerships with international organizations like the UNDP to drive the
nation’s reforms and digital transformation agenda. She highlighted the role of
digital technologies in enhancing the efficiency of government services and
improving the overall governance framework.
"Collaboration
with the UNDP will enable us to capitalize on their global expertise, advancing
both the administrative reforms and the technological advancements needed to
support Morocco’s sustainable development goals," said Minister El Fallah-Seghrouchni.
The
meeting also served as a platform to discuss new opportunities for joint
initiatives that will contribute to Morocco's ongoing efforts in creating a
more inclusive and digitally enabled society. The partnership is expected to
foster continued cooperation in transforming Morocco's public administration,
integrating innovative technologies, and promoting sustainable development
solutions that align with international standards.
