Ethiopian Airlines upgrades fleet with cutting-edge Safran seating

Ethiopian Airlines has taken a significant step toward enhancing passenger comfort by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with French aerospace company Safran for the supply of state-of-the-art Z400 economy class seats. The agreement, finalized at the prestigious Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, will equip eight new Boeing 777-9 aircraft with the premium seating solution. 

The Z400 seats were specifically selected by Ethiopian Airlines for their superior comfort and advanced features tailored to long-haul operations. Passengers can look forward to an elevated inflight experience, including next-generation displays for high-quality entertainment and ergonomic designs that prioritize comfort during extended flights. 

"This partnership with Safran reflects our commitment to delivering world-class service and innovation," said an Ethiopian Airlines representative. "The Z400 seats will ensure our passengers enjoy unparalleled comfort as we continue to expand our long-range fleet." 

The Boeing 777-9 aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and extended range, will further strengthen Ethiopian Airlines' position as a leader in African aviation. The addition of Safran's Z400 seats aligns with the airline's strategy to combine operational excellence with premium passenger experiences.
