Orange Mali Foundation has
presented the results of its PLAN B 2025 programme to Mali’s Minister of
National Entrepreneurship, Employment and Vocational Training as part of
efforts aimed at promoting youth empowerment and employability.
The programme, which focuses
on the professional integration of young people who have dropped out of school,
enabled 100 youths to receive training in 2025 in high-potential vocational
fields including pastry production, building painting, and the installation and
maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems.
The Foundation said the
initiative is designed to equip beneficiaries with practical and marketable
skills that can improve their chances of employment and entrepreneurship.

Following the results
achieved under the programme, the Foundation plans to expand its impact in 2026
by supporting more young Malians through additional vocational training sectors
such as beauty aesthetics, building plumbing and tiling.
During the presentation held
on May 7, 2026, the Minister commended the Orange Mali Foundation for its
continued efforts to promote youth empowerment and support vocational training
initiatives in the country.
The PLAN B programme forms
part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to supporting education, skills
development and social inclusion through initiatives that help prepare young
people for the labour market and future economic opportunities.
