Orange Digital Center Côte
d’Ivoire has hosted a business engagement bringing together startups from
Orange Fab Côte d’Ivoire and a delegation from Business France and RisingSUD as
part of efforts to accelerate the international growth of African technology
companies.
The meeting was held under
the strategic partnership between Orange and RisingSUD, an initiative aimed at
supporting African startups seeking to establish operations and expand into the
French market.
The event featured plenary
discussions and business-to-business (B2B) meetings, providing entrepreneurs
with an opportunity to engage directly with representatives from Business
France and RisingSUD to explore international growth opportunities.
According to Orange Côte
d’Ivoire, the engagement focused on identifying high-potential startups with
the capacity to scale beyond their domestic markets and access new business
ecosystems in Europe.
The initiative forms part of
Orange Digital Center's broader mission to support entrepreneurship,
innovation, and the development of Africa's digital economy by connecting
startups with international investors, partners, and innovation networks.
Officials said the
collaboration reflects a shared commitment to fostering innovation-driven
enterprises capable of competing in global markets while contributing to
economic development across Africa.
By facilitating partnerships
between African startups and international stakeholders, the programme aims to
strengthen business development, encourage knowledge exchange, and create new
opportunities for technology-driven companies to expand their operations.
