Orange Burkina Faso has reaffirmed its commitment to youth employability and digital skills development following a visit by Burkina Faso’s Minister of Sports, Youth and Employment to the Orange Digital Center Burkina Faso.

The Minister, Annick Pikbougoum Zingué/Ouattara, was received by the company's Director of Strategy, Transformation and Corporate Social Responsibility during a tour of the facility.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the Orange Digital Center's contribution to strengthening digital competencies and improving employment prospects for young people over its five years of operation. Officials presented the Centre's programmes, achievements and its role in preparing participants for careers aligned with the country's digital transformation agenda.

The ministerial delegation also observed ongoing training sessions, including courses in mobile phone and tablet repair, as well as the AWS re/Start programme, which equips participants with skills for careers in cloud computing and related digital technologies.

According to Orange Burkina Faso, these initiatives are designed to provide young Burkinabè with practical, market-relevant skills that respond to evolving labour market demands while supporting the country's growing digital economy.

The company said the Orange Digital Center will continue to expand opportunities for digital learning, entrepreneurship and technology-driven employment, reinforcing its broader commitment to empowering youth and contributing to Burkina Faso's socio-economic development through innovation and digital inclusion.
