Guinea’s National Agency for
Universal Telecommunications and Digital Services (ANSUTEN) has launched the AI
Open Days initiative with a training session on the use of artificial
intelligence in public administration, bringing together 160 officials from
four ministerial departments.
The session, held on
Wednesday, October 28, 2026, was chaired by Souleymane Bah, Secretary General
of the Ministry of Communication, Digital Economy and Innovation (MCENI), and
organised under the R-CUN programme in collaboration with Africa Digital
Academy (ADA).
The training brought
together executives from the Ministry of Communication, Digital Economy and
Innovation; the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Budget; the Ministry of
Modernization of the Administration and Public Service; and the Ministry of
Youth.
The programme focused on
practical applications of artificial intelligence to improve daily efficiency,
optimise certain tasks and transform professional practices within public
administration.
Through the AI Open Days,
ANSUTEN aims to establish regular training and experimentation sessions for
different audiences, helping participants move from understanding artificial
intelligence to applying it in professional environments.
The initiative is also
intended to strengthen digital skills and support the country’s ongoing
transformation.
