The Tanzania Financial Technology Association (TAFINA) has officially launched to promote cooperation and innovation in Tanzania's fintech landscape. This platform aims to unite FinTech stakeholders for collaboration and growth.


As a unified hub, TAFINA seeks to facilitate knowledge exchange, partnerships, and collective efforts that will drive the FinTech sector to new heights.

The launch event, held at Serena Hotels, was graced by representatives from diverse sectors, showcasing the widespread support and enthusiasm for TAFINA's mission. Attendees included dignitaries from the central bank, commercial banks, telecommunications companies, fintech firms, investors, and startups, all united in their commitment to advancing Tanzania's financial technology landscape.


Among the proud members of TAFINA, Tembo stands tall, celebrating this momentous occasion alongside other industry leaders. Noteworthy contributors to this alliance include Cellulant, Onafriq, United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), AzamPay, Financial Sector Deepening Tanzania, Swahilies, NMB Bank Plc, Exim Bank (Tanzania) Limited, NALA, PalmPay, Vodacom, Digital Mobile Africa, Africa Fintech Network, Tigo Tanzania Plc, airtel, ENDOXA LAW, Warioba Ventures, and Serengeti Angels.
