MTN Ghana's board chair commended Selorm Adadevoh for exceptional leadership skills and unwavering determination

The Chairman of the Board of MTN Ghana, Ishmael Yamson, has praised the outgoing CEO, Selorm Adadevoh, for his exceptional leadership skills and unwavering determination. Mr. Yamson made the remarks during a final send-off party organized by the management of MTN Ghana.

The event was held at the plush Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra and was attended by the top brass of Ghana's telecommunications industry and key government officials.

Mr. Yamson described Adadevoh as a man who is resolutely committed to delivering excellence.

"I have seen six CEOs of MTN Ghana, but this guy is exceptional," the Chairman remarked, acknowledging Adadevoh's remarkable achievements and leadership qualities.

According to him through turbulent times and challenges, Adadevoh remained steadfast in his pursuit of success. The Chairman commended him for his resilience, noting that Adadevoh consistently surpassed expectations year after year, demonstrating an unwavering dedication to his goals.

"Year after year, notwithstanding what would happen, this young man will achieve his aim."

He extended gratitude to Selorm for his exemplary performance, noting that he had not let down the board of directors of MTN Ghana and also commended him for being one of two Ghanaians representing MTN Group, further emphasizing his significance within the company and beyond.

Ken Ashigbey, CEO of the Telecom Chamber, also praised Adadevoh for his contributions to the industry. As an executive committee member of the Telecom Chamber, he mentioned that Adadevoh played a pivotal role in navigating crises such as network outages and fibre cuts, demonstrating his exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.

Looking back on Selorm's tenure, Ken noted his impact, stating, "Selorm has left an indelible mark on the history of the chamber. His leadership and collaborative spirit had contributed significantly to advancing the telecommunications industry in Ghana.”
