Morocco's
Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Amal
Al-Falah Al-Saghrushni has participated in high-level digital cooperation talks
during her working visit to Estonia this week. The minister joined
international counterparts at a meeting chaired by Estonian President Alar
Karis in Tallinn, focused on advancing global digital governance
partnerships.
The ministerial
gathering brought together digital leaders from Kenya, South Africa, North
Macedonia and Brazil to examine Estonia's pioneering digital governance model
and explore collaborative opportunities in digital public services and
technological infrastructure development. Minister Al-Saghrushni emphasized the
importance of converting discussions into concrete partnerships through
bilateral agreements covering digital skills training, knowledge exchange and
e-service transformation.

"Such
high-level dialogues must translate into actionable cooperation frameworks that
accelerate our nations' digital transformation," stated the Moroccan minister during the session. Her intervention
highlighted Morocco's dual focus on both international digital partnerships and
regional African cooperation.
The visit also
featured a bilateral meeting between Minister Al-Saghrushni and Kenya's
Principal Secretary for Immigration and Citizen Services, Bilio Kipsang,
alongside Kenya's Ambassador to Estonia. Discussions centered on strengthening
Morocco-Kenya digital cooperation, particularly in areas of mutual interest
such as digital identity systems and e-government services.
The Tallinn
meetings yielded preliminary agreements for future technical exchanges between
participating nations, with Morocco positioned to serve as a bridge between
European digital expertise and African development priorities.
The minister's
European visit forms part of Morocco's broader digital diplomacy strategy,
which seeks to establish the Kingdom as a continental hub for digital
innovation while securing strategic partnerships with leading digital nations
like Estonia.
