Djibouti has stepped up
preparations for its National Forum on Artificial Intelligence, scheduled to
take place from September 2 to 3, 2026, at the People’s Palace in Djibouti.
The Ministry Delegate in
charge of Digital Economy and Innovation (MDENI) recently hosted a working
meeting with focal points from various government ministries involved in
organising the forum.
The meeting brought together
representatives from participating ministries to coordinate preparations and
define their contributions to the upcoming event. Each ministry reaffirmed its
commitment to actively participate in the forum’s discussions, activities and
broader programme.
The National Forum on
Artificial Intelligence is expected to provide a platform for government
institutions and other stakeholders to exchange views on the development and
application of AI and its implications for Djibouti’s digital transformation.
