The Regulatory Council of Côte d’Ivoire’s Telecommunications and ICT Regulatory Authority (ARTCI) has held a working session with Orange Côte d’Ivoire to discuss market balance, investment capacity and sustainable growth in the country’s telecommunications sector.

The session, held on Thursday, September 9, was led by ARTCI Regulatory Council Chairman Roger Felix ADOM, with Orange Côte d’Ivoire represented by its Managing Director, Mamadou BAMBA, accompanied by members of the company’s Management Committee.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the two sides to review Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s missions, activities and results, while also examining challenges affecting the balance of the telecommunications market.

Particular attention was given to market balance as a factor in maintaining operators’ capacity to invest and supporting sustainable growth within the electronic communications sector.

The discussions also underscored the importance of maintaining regular dialogue between the telecommunications regulator and operators as the sector continues to evolve.

According to ARTCI, sustained engagement between the regulator and industry players is essential to supporting the long-term development of Côte d’Ivoire’s electronic communications sector and addressing emerging challenges within the country’s digital ecosystem.
