Five women-led businesses receive GH₵567,500 grants under Standard Chartered Women in Tech Programme

Five businesses have emerged as winners of the Standard Chartered Foundation Women in Tech (SCWIT) programme’s Cohort 6 Pitch Day, receiving a combined GH₵567,500 in grants to support the growth and scaling of their businesses.

The Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) announced the winners following the Cohort 6 Pitch Day and Graduation, marking another milestone in the programme’s efforts to support women entrepreneurs in turning their business ideas and ambitions into viable solutions with measurable impact.

Ten businesses participated in the pitching session. They included Girls Farm Hub, Rising SheFarms Food, Kroms, Booksie, Sigil Best Enterprise, SISIMARIE, Porducare Touchlife, Wadmet Enterprise, Edu3dcation LTD Ghana and Verte Tower.

The participating businesses presented their ventures as part of the programme’s support for women-led enterprises seeking to develop, grow and scale their operations.

The GH₵567,500 in grants will provide financial support to the five selected winners as they work to expand their businesses and strengthen the solutions they are developing.
