The Egypt-Japan University
of Science and Technology (E-JUST) has hosted a Horizon Europe Information
Session to help students, researchers and innovators explore European funding
opportunities and pathways for international collaboration.
The session introduced
participants to the Horizon Europe funding landscape and the EU Funding & Tenders
Portal, with discussions covering key programmes including MSCA, ERC and EIC
Pathfinder.
Participants also received
guidance on consortium building and proposal writing as they explored
opportunities for securing European research funding and developing
international partnerships.
The session further
addressed inclusion and common application challenges, while highlighting
support available through EU-Liaison Offices, National Contact Points and
institutional focal points.
The engagement provided
students, researchers and innovators with information on available funding
mechanisms and the processes involved in pursuing Horizon Europe opportunities.
