MTN South
Africa has appointed Bradley Swanepoel as its new Chief Risk Officer effective
1 October 2023 as part of efforts to strengthen its risk management.
According
to a brief statement issued on Wednesday, Bradley who currently serves as the General
Manager: Finance Business Partner, brings a wealth of organization-wide
experience across MTN's Enterprise, Consumer, Fintech, and Technology sectors.
His
comprehensive understanding of MTN's operations perfectly aligns with the
requirements of a Chief Risk Officer.
"Bradley's extensive background as a seasoned CA (SA)
and finance executive, with over 20 years of senior leadership experience,
makes him an invaluable addition to our team," says MTN SA CEO Charles Molapisi.
"His strategic lens and deep telecoms expertise will
enhance the role of risk as a strategic lever within our business."
