Rwanda’s
digital services platform Irembo has formally handed over leadership to
incoming Chief Executive Officer Noella Dushime and Chief Technical Officer
Ngabe Rutagarama as the company begins a new phase of its growth.
The
leadership transition was marked in the presence of Irembo’s Board of Directors
and senior management, followed by a meet-and-greet session where the two
leaders engaged with employees, exchanged perspectives and discussed the
questions and opportunities that will shape the company’s next chapter.
Dushime
brings extensive experience in GovTech, digital transformation and strategic
partnerships. She previously served as Irembo’s Director of Business and
Partnerships and returns to lead the company’s strategic direction after
gaining additional experience in global technology partnerships at Proto.
Rutagarama
brings experience in technology leadership, digital innovation and IT
management across the financial services and telecommunications sectors. Having
previously been part of Irembo’s technology team, he returns to lead the
company’s technology strategy and advance the development of reliable,
innovative digital solutions.
Irembo
also expressed appreciation to outgoing leader Israel Bimpe for his leadership,
dedication and contributions to the organisation, wishing him success in his
next chapter.
“As
we move forward, our commitment remains the same: building technology that
meaningfully improves people's lives,” the company said.
