Government to build resilient digital economy through strategic partnership

The government of Ghana has reiterated its commitment to building a resilient digital economy that would transform national development through strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the country’s tech ecosystem.

The Deputy Minister for Communications and Digitalization ( MoCD), Ama Pomaa Boateng, who made this known during a meeting with members of the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) at the Accra Digital Center (ADC), said the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization ( MoCD) will continue to engage with stakeholders to a robust digital economy.


Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI), led by Dr. Eun Jin RYU, are on a 4-day working visit to Ghana to understudy Ghana’s digitalisation architecture with a particular focus on cyber security, 5G Network, innovation and other electronic services which were being championed by the MoCD and its agencies.


The team was also joined by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ADC, Mr. Kwadwo Baah Agyeman; The Director for Research, Statistics and Information Management (RSIM) at MoCD, Mr. Samuel Antwi-Gyekyi, as well as other officials from the ministry.
