Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy for the Federal
Republic of Nigeria, Dr. 'Bosun Tijani has expressed his commitment to joining
forces with the Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Communications Satellite
Limited (NIGCOMSAT), Jane
Nkechi Egerton-Idehen for an upcoming Stakeholders Breakfast Meeting.
The focus of this meeting is to usher in a new
era for the Nigerian satellite sector and explore its potential role in the
country's technology ecosystem. The objective is to redefine the significance
of this critical infrastructure in their collective effort to accelerate prosperity
through enhanced technical efficiency.
Dr. Tijani in
his official LinkedIn social media post acknowledges the importance of
continuous engagement with stakeholders, and the upcoming interactive session
is poised to be a platform for open dialogue and collaboration.
The event aims to bring together a diverse
group of stakeholders, including Ministries, Directorates, Agencies (MDAs),
clients, vendors, potential partners, and resellers, in a dynamic exchange of
ideas and insights.
The date for this Stakeholders Breakfast Meeting is set
for November 8th, 2023, and it will commence at 9:00 AM. The venue for the
event is The Destination, located at 20, Ndjanmena Crescent, off Aminu Kano
Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja.
