The discussions focused on leveraging Meta's technological expertise to support Ghana's digital transformation agenda, particularly in areas of digital inclusion, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. With Meta's popular platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp deeply integrated into Ghana's digital landscape, the meeting explored opportunities to enhance local innovation while addressing critical challenges in the tech space.

Minister George expressed the government's commitment to building a digitally inclusive economy that actively engages Ghana's youth population. "Partnerships with global technology leaders like Meta are essential as we work to bridge the digital divide and create opportunities in our growing tech sector," the Minister stated during the productive engagement.

The meeting also examined potential models of collaboration, drawing from Meta's successful initiatives in other markets. Areas of mutual interest included digital skills development, support for local tech startups, and the responsible deployment of AI technologies tailored to Ghana's developmental context.

Sade Dada, Meta's Head of Public Policy for Anglophone West Africa, joined the discussions, underscoring the company's long-term interest in Ghana's digital growth.
