Newly
appointed Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Board Chairman, Mr. Anthony Ng'ang'a
Mwaura has said the KRA Board of Directors and Management will continue
supporting staff to deliver on their targets.
The
Chairman spoke when he visited the Thika Tax Service Office (TSO) and held a
meeting with the station's leadership. Mr. Mwaura noted that the aim of the
visit and others in the future is to interact with staff at their workstations,
experience their work environment, and address any challenges that might be
there.
According
to the Chairman, the aim is also to get ideas from staff on the best strategies
to improve revenue collection and service delivery
Service-Centred
Approach
The
Chairman commended the TSO for meeting its revenue targets for November 2022
and emphasized the need to work hard, saying the Board and the leadership will
provide the necessary support.
He
underscored the importance of a service-centered approach to daily tasks to
uphold and maintain KRA's image.
Thika
TSO Head Mr. Loyford Kubai thanked the Chairman for the visit and assured him
of the station's support to the Board and the leadership towards meeting the
organizational objectives.
