Numérique SA (formerly ADIE) has extended congratulations to former Minister
Alioune Sall and the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital
Economy (MCTN) for what it described as significant progress in advancing
Senegal’s digital transformation agenda.
In
a statement, the organisation noted that over the past two years, the
ministry’s leadership has helped establish strong foundations for the country’s
digital development, guided by the vision of the New Technological Deal.
It
highlighted key areas of progress including the strengthening of national
digital governance frameworks, expansion of universal connectivity, promotion
of digital inclusion, acceleration of government service digitisation, and
improved interoperability of public information systems.
According
to Sénégal Numérique SA, these efforts are contributing to the development of a
more integrated and citizen-focused digital ecosystem aimed at improving public
service delivery and enhancing access to digital services nationwide.
The
organisation commended the ministry and its teams for what it described as
committed leadership and coordinated efforts in advancing Senegal’s national
digital transformation objectives.
