The
Agence Nationale du Service Universel des Télécommunications (ANSUT) has marked
the conclusion of the sixth edition of African Digital Week 2026 with awards
for young innovators and recognition of leadership in Côte d’Ivoire’s digital
sector.
At
a ceremony held at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire following the ADW Youth Hackathon
held at the University of San Pedro, winning teams were presented with prizes
including laptops and financial support ranging from 300,000 to 1,000,000 CFA
francs.
The
competition, themed “Artificial Intelligence and Universal
Telecommunications-ICT Service: transforming access into impact,” was won by
students from ESATIC, who were recognized for their innovative solutions
addressing digital inclusion and ICT access.
In
addition to the youth awards, Mr. Salime Khaladji Touré, Technical Advisor to
the Director General of ANSUT, was distinguished among the top 30 digital
leaders in Côte d’Ivoire for 2026, in recognition of his contribution to the
country’s digital transformation agenda.
ANSUT
noted that the dual recognition of emerging talent and established leadership
reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting innovation, fostering skills
development, and supporting Côte d’Ivoire’s broader digital transformation
objectives.
