MTN Eswatini has announced it will power 280 medical drone flights over the next year as part of a partnership with The Luke Commission to expand access to healthcare in remote areas.

The initiative, launched under MTN’s 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign, supports the Nkwe Medical Drone Network. It currently serves 30 remote health facilities across the kingdom, with Musi Clinic in Mankayane named as the newest beneficiary.

Jerry J. Soko, Group Regional General Manager for Operations and Commercial at MTN Group, said distance remains a major barrier for many communities needing critical medical supplies. He described the drone network as an innovative solution helping to bridge that gap and save lives.

MTN is positioning the effort as part of its broader role as Eswatini’s digital life partner, using technology to solve real healthcare challenges and improve service delivery in underserved areas.
