MTN
Group has launched MTN One TV, a new digital entertainment platform designed to
expand access to local, regional, and global content for customers across its
African markets.
The
announcement was made by MTN Group, which said the platform brings together
live channels, local storytelling, and global entertainment content in a more
flexible and accessible format for users.
According
to MTN Group Chief Commercial, Strategy and Transformation Officer Selorm
Adadevoh, the introduction of MTN One TV reflects the company’s ambition to
strengthen digital participation through entertainment, which is increasingly
becoming a key entry point into digital ecosystems.
MTN
said the platform is powered by its existing connectivity, fintech, and digital
infrastructure, enabling the distribution of local content while also creating
new opportunities for content creators and the broader creative economy across
Africa.
The
company added that MTN One TV will support the development of local content
ecosystems by providing distribution channels that allow creators to reach MTN
customers across multiple markets.
MTN
described the launch as part of its broader strategy to deliver integrated
digital experiences and reinforce its long-term goal of “leading digital
solutions for Africa’s progress.”
