The Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) has announced plans to convene Digital Development Day Mozambique on 24 June 2026, bringing together key stakeholders to advance discussions on digital transformation and ecosystem development in the country.

The event, themed “Strengthening Digital Ecosystems through Collaboration,” is expected to gather government leaders, industry experts, academia, innovators, and development partners to explore practical approaches to accelerating Mozambique’s digital economy.

According to CTO, the forum will focus on fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration as a driver of digital transformation, with emphasis on building resilient digital infrastructure, enhancing policy frameworks, and promoting inclusive access to digital services.

The organisation stated that the discussions will contribute to shaping strategies aimed at strengthening Mozambique’s digital ecosystem and supporting broader socio-economic development through technology-driven solutions.

CTO added that the event will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, partnership building, and the sharing of best practices among regional and international stakeholders engaged in digital development initiatives.

Further updates, including speaker announcements and programme details, are expected to be released ahead of the event.
