The Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and ICT of Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI) and ESCA have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening collaboration in support of digital development and professional excellence.

The agreement was formalized during the opening day of activities marking the 50th anniversary of ESCA, held at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan.

The event commenced with a high-level opening ceremony attended by government officials, industry leaders, and representatives from the education and technology sectors.

A key highlight of the first day was the signing of the agreement between ARTCI and ESCA, which both institutions described as a strategic partnership designed to promote innovation, skills development, and the advancement of the digital economy.

Following the signing ceremony, participants toured exhibition stands showcasing initiatives, technologies, and projects from various organizations engaged in digital transformation and economic development.

ARTCI used the occasion to present its ongoing activities and regulatory initiatives aimed at supporting the growth of Côte d’Ivoire’s digital ecosystem and fostering greater access to digital services.

Officials noted that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening cooperation between regulatory institutions and educational organizations in order to build the human capital and expertise required for a rapidly evolving digital economy.

The anniversary celebrations provided a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, explore new opportunities for collaboration, and discuss the role of technology and innovation in supporting national development.

The event concluded with renewed calls for stronger partnerships between public institutions, academia, and industry to accelerate digital transformation and enhance competitiveness within Côte d’Ivoire and the wider region.
