Zeepay Ghana Limited has assured customers and stakeholders that it is working closely with the Bank of Ghana and other relevant parties to ensure an orderly and transparent transition following the revocation of its Dedicated Electronic Money Issuer (DEMI) licence.

In a public statement issued after the Bank of Ghana's announcement, the fintech company said it is committed to managing the process responsibly while maintaining close engagement with the regulator and all stakeholders.

Zeepay acknowledged that the development may have raised concerns among customers, employees, agents, merchants, business partners and the general public, and expressed appreciation for their patience, understanding and continued cooperation during the transition period.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining open and transparent communication throughout the process, adding that it will continue to work constructively with the Bank of Ghana towards an orderly resolution.

Zeepay also stated that verified updates regarding the situation will be communicated through its official communication channels as they become available.

The statement comes in response to the Bank of Ghana's decision to revoke the company's Dedicated Electronic Money Issuer licence, with Zeepay indicating that it remains focused on supporting all affected stakeholders during the ongoing regulatory process.
