Jumia Uganda has hosted
members of the French Chamber of Commerce Uganda (FCCU) for discussions focused
on strengthening collaboration, improving logistics and supporting the growth
of Uganda's digital economy.
The engagement brought
together representatives from Jumia and the French Chamber of Commerce Uganda
to examine the opportunities and challenges facing businesses operating within
the country's digital commerce ecosystem.
Using Jumia's operations as
a case study, participants discussed shared industry challenges and explored
strategies to strengthen the business environment and improve preparedness for
future market demands.
A key focus of the
discussions was the role of logistics infrastructure and strategic partnerships
in enhancing customer experience and supporting the continued expansion of
e-commerce services across Uganda.
Jumia Uganda said
strengthening its logistics capabilities remains central to its strategy of
delivering more efficient services while contributing to the country's digital
transformation and economic growth.
The company also emphasized
the importance of collaboration between the private sector and business
organisations in building a more resilient and connected digital ecosystem
capable of supporting innovation, investment and sustainable development.
The meeting forms part of
ongoing efforts to foster partnerships that promote the growth of digital
commerce and create new opportunities for businesses and consumers in Uganda.
