MTN South Sudan reaffirms commitment to economic growth in meeting with trade minister

MTN South Sudan has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the country's socio-economic development following a courtesy visit by Chief Executive Officer, Mapula Bodibe to the Minister of Trade and Industry, H.E. Dr. Margaret Labanya Mathya.

The meeting was held to congratulate Dr. Mathya on her recent appointment and to discuss opportunities for collaboration aimed at advancing South Sudan’s economic and digital transformation agenda.

During the visit, Ms. Bodibe presented a commemorative plaque to the minister on behalf of MTN South Sudan as a gesture of goodwill and expressed the company's support for her tenure at the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The telecommunications operator reiterated its commitment to working closely with the ministry to foster a conducive business environment, promote innovation and expand digital and economic inclusion across the country.

MTN South Sudan said strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors will be key to unlocking new opportunities for businesses, improving access to digital services and supporting sustainable economic development.
