The first edition of the
Togo AI Summer School (TAISS) 2026 has concluded after six days of training,
workshops and knowledge sharing focused on artificial intelligence and digital
technology.
As part of the closing
activities, participants toured the campus, visiting the Djanta Tech Hub, the
Togo AI Lab, the supervision room and other facilities.
A key highlight of the final
day was an intergenerational exchange with children participating in the “Mon
Enfant & le Numérique” programme. The session provided an opportunity for
participants to engage with the children and exchange perspectives on digital
technology.
The six-day programme
brought together participants for intensive learning, practical workshops and
experience-sharing around artificial intelligence and related areas.
The organisers said the
first edition ended on a positive and collaborative note, with participants
expressing a desire to reunite for the next edition of the programme.
