Rwanda will convene technology leaders, investors, founders and innovators in San Francisco on September 16, 2026, to explore opportunities to develop and scale artificial intelligence solutions in Rwanda and across Africa.

The executive roundtable, titled “Unlocking AI Potential in Rwanda and Scaling Across Africa,” will be hosted by Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and Innovation, Paula Ingabire, as part of the country’s engagement at Dreamforce 2026.

The session will highlight Rwanda’s ambition to build what it describes as Africa’s most advanced AI-powered society while creating opportunities for technology companies, investors and innovators to participate in that transformation.

Discussions will focus on practical applications of artificial intelligence across sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, government and enterprise.

Participants will also examine the policies, infrastructure and ecosystem capabilities Rwanda is putting in place to enable AI solutions to be developed, deployed and scaled within the country and into wider African markets.

The roundtable is expected to provide a platform for investors and technology companies to engage directly with Rwanda’s digital transformation agenda and explore opportunities for partnerships and market expansion.

The event will take place in San Francisco from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, September 16.

Rwanda’s participation at Dreamforce forms part of its broader effort to position the country as an attractive destination for technology investment and as a platform through which innovative digital solutions can reach markets across Africa.
