Togo AI Lab is stepping up
efforts to guide young people towards careers in data and artificial
intelligence (AI) through orientation sessions and workshops aimed at helping
students and families navigate an increasingly digital world.
As the start of the new
academic year approaches, the Lab has been participating in activities to
highlight opportunities and careers in data and AI, while supporting young
people in developing skills for the digital economy.
Recent activities included
an information and orientation session at ESIG Global Success, where students
discussed opportunities and career paths in data and AI.
The Lab also participated in
the JV GODODO Programme des Audacieuses, an opportunity workshop that brought
together more than 2,000 young people around employability, digital technology
and digital professions.
The programme included
guidance on using AI to create a professional CV, write a cover letter and
identify employment opportunities.
In another initiative, the
Lab engaged parents in a discussion titled “Educating your child in the age of
AI”, focusing on how families can support children in using artificial
intelligence in a useful and responsible way.
Through guidance, tools and
awareness, Togo AI Lab said it is working to prepare the next generation of
Togolese digital technology talent.
