The Egyptian
Space Agency (EgSA) has revealed that it will host New Space Africa 2025, the
continent’s premier space event. The announcement was made during a press
conference held at EgSA’s Space Academy in Cairo, which also marked the
official inauguration of the African Space Agency’s (AfSA) headquarters in the
Egyptian capital.
The event
brought together distinguished space leaders, policymakers, and industry
experts to highlight Egypt’s advanced infrastructure, strategic vision, and
commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation in Africa’s space
industry. The hosting of New Space Africa 2025 and the establishment of AfSA’s
headquarters in Cairo underscore Egypt’s growing influence as a regional hub

New Space
Africa 2025, organized in partnership with the African Space Agency, is set to

During the
press conference, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, Professor Dr. Sherif Sedky noted
