Women leaders and digital
sector stakeholders have highlighted the importance of networking, innovation
and collaboration in shaping the future of artificial intelligence and digital
transformation in Côte d’Ivoire.
The discussions took place
during the second edition of the National Conference on Artificial
Intelligence, IMPACT IA, organised from September 9 to 11, 2026, by the
Ministry of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation.
The RIFEN, which brings
together women of influence, decision-makers and digital sector actors, used
the conference to strengthen connections and promote greater participation by
women in conversations around emerging technologies.
Regina Fleur A. BESSOU,
Technical Advisor to the Director General of the Regulatory Authority for
Electronic Communications and ICTs (ARTCI), participated in the event and held
exchanges with Edith Brou Bleu, an honorary member of RIFEN.
The event also featured a
master class on artificial intelligence and vibe coding led by technology
expert Mohamed Sangare, providing participants with an opportunity to engage
with emerging applications and developments in AI.
Beyond the formal panels and
sessions, participants emphasised the importance of networking as a means of
connecting professionals, sharing experiences and creating opportunities for
collaboration.
The RIFEN said its
participation reflects its commitment to creating bridges between women
leaders, decision-makers and digital players while contributing to discussions
shaping the future of technology.
